WAIRARAPA v. NELSON
LOCAL TEAM SELECTED.
Mr J. Fisher has selected the following Wairarapa hockey team to play Nelson on August 5: — Goal: G. Tildesley. Full-backs: A. Kay, R. Dick. Halves: M. Knutson, M. Worsfold, J. Dick. Forwards: T. Hooper, S. Fisher, D. Jackson, A. Fisher, G. Ruakere. Emergencies: C. Knutson, V. Sayer. The team will travel by two airliners each machine carrying six men. The emergencies are selected only to replace anyone unable to make the trip as the rules of the game do not allow of replacements after the game has commenced. Mr Maloney, of Greytown. referee, will make the twelfth man and a member of the team will act as manager.
