PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING OF SUB-BRANCH. ("Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Eketahuna sub-branch of the Plunket Society there were present; Mesdames Albrechtsen (chair), Ives, Gray, Christie, Simmers, Richardson and the secretary, Mrs A. S. Carter. The nurse’s report was read and adopted and showed the following figures for June: —Number of babies under supervision, 80; number of older children under supervision. 48; new cases for the month, 4; analysis of health, normal, 3; visits to office, adults 80; babies 79; children 4; visits to homes, 15; visits to district, 5. The following subscriptions are acknowledged with thanks: Mesdames S. H. Hobbs ss, K. Hislop ss, E. Evans ss. It was reported that contributions to the late Sir Truby King Memorial were coming to hand slowly and it was hoped that all who intend contributing will send in their donations as soon as possible. The following donations are acknowledged with thanks: Well-wish-er ss, Grand Dad ss, A Little Helper 2s 6d. MINIATURE RIFLES MATCH WON BY MANGATAINOKA. The following were the scores of the Byrne Shield competition fired at the Eketahuna range last night between the Eketahuna and Mangatainoka teams, the latter winning.
