MEETING OF WAIRARAPA BOARD INSTALLATION OF HEATING SYSTEMS. . The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board was held today. Those present were Messrs H. H. Mawlev (chairman), W. I. Armstrong N. T. B. Bcetham, W. Britland, A. Clark. F. Court, A. Forsberg, W. B. Martin, D. McGregor. C. T. Richardson, J. F. Thompson, J. McLeod, Mesdames J. Robertson and S. Fletcher, and Misses H. Card and E. McKenny. Messrs A. and T. Burt Ltd. Wellington. quoted £2lB for a heating system at the Pahiatua Nurses’ Home and £ 166 for a somewhat similar system at the Greytown Nurses' Home. Both tenders were accepted and work is to proceed immediately. The same firm also drew attention to the risk of firs with the present boiler room under the stairway of the Pahiatua Nurses’ Home. It was decided to erect a new boiler house sufficient to house the requisite plant at the back and adjoining the Nurses’ Home.
