MANAWATU GORGE
RAILWAY LINE CLEARED. ROAD OPEN BUT GREAT CARE NEEDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The slip on the railway line in the Manawatu Gorge was cleared overnight and traffic is now normal. The highway route is also open, though another large fall appears imminent at one point. The greatest care is necessary by drivers.
