Mrs J. B. Smith. Fern Flats, Alfredton. is visiting Wellington.
Miss Joyce Haigh has returned to Wellington after a visit to Greytown. Mr and Mrs F. Petersen, of Essex Street. Maslerton, were weekend visitors to Norsewood.
Miss Suzanne Collins, of Featherston, has been visiting her grandparents, Mr and Mrs Lionel Abraham, Palmerston North.
Mrs Sealing, of Feilding, returned home today after a visit to Masterton. Nurse Bealing, of Palmerston North, has returned home after having been on a visit to Masterton. Probably the oldest white woman in New Zealand, Mrs Emma Harries, Cargill Road, South Dunedin, will celebrate her one hundred and fifth birthday today. Though her hearing is not very good, Mrs Harries bears the burden of her years remarkably well.
