PONGAROA
HOMESTEAD DESTROYED (“Times-Age" Special.) A fire occurred this morning about 4 o’clock at Pongaroa. the scene of the outbreak being the Burling homestead, occupied by the manager. Mr Frank Meech. The house was burnt to the ground. The occupants, Mr and Mrs Meech and a boy, escaped in their night attire.
