MARTINBOROUGH
FIRE BRIGADE MEETING ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Martinborough Fire Brigade was held last night in the Fire Brigade Station. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Superintendent, W. O. Hewitson; deputy superintendent, F. P. Duffy; foreman, R. Feist; custodian, W. Sharp; first branchman, G. Cotter; second branchman. R. Wright; first stand pipeman, E. Findlay; second stand pipeman, C. Johns. It was reported that the brigade had attended eleven fires during the year and that there was very little loss of property. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £6 Ils.
