ORDERED TO LEAVE
FOREIGNERS IN TYROL.
BRITISH NATIONALS APPEAL
TO CONSULATE
By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright (Received This Day. 1.0 p.m.) LONDON. July 10.
The "Daily Telegraph's" Rome correspondent says a totally unexpected order has been given to English, French. Dutch and Swiss residents of the Tyrol to evacuate the area within forty-eight hours. Probably the order is a sequel to the Germanisation of the area. It is understood that twelve English nationals, sixteen French, a hundred Dutch, .-.nd an unknown number of Swiss are affected. Americans may be involved. British nationals appeal cd to their Consulate. Il is understood that a collective demarche from the countries concerned is likely. Italian diplomatic quarters are silent.
