The conference of the International Federation of Trades Unions rejected by 46 votes to 37 the British invitation to Russian trades unions to become affiliated. The question of working hours will be taken up when events permit. Further resolutions advocated the economic planning of industry in order to avoid plunging millions of workers into a crisis.
