FRENCH EXHIBITION
♦ GERMAN PARTICIPATION. The organisers of the Exhibition of Social Progress, just opened at Lille, have been notified officially that Germany will take part. The Reich presented a number of exhibits in the: Palais Pasteur from June II) to July 10. A fortnight of German art was presented. with an important musical and folk-lore section. The directors of the exhibition, in welcoming the participation of Germany, declare: “An exhibition is a great work of pacification, and it is meet that the exhibition of Lille should, within the measure of its possibilities, contribute to the drawing closer to - gether of peoples with the profound desire for peace which has ever been the desire of France." iwTini ii ■iiiiuiH ii in mi run miiw 11 min m hub nr ni— n ■ — ■
