Difficulty in arranging the transfer of funds to finance a visit to San Francisco is being experienced by bowlers in various parts of New Zealand who wish to compete in the Golden Gate Exposition September tournament. "It is possible that four or five fours from New Zealand will make the trip if the transfer of funds can be arranged.” said the secretary of the Auckland Bowling Centre today. Mr George Gladding. He added that only one four had been able to complete arrangements.- Members would leave Auckland on July 24. Any other fours would have to leave not later than August 8. said Mr Gladding. Fours in doubt include one from Palmerston North, one from Auckland, and one or two from the South Island. ‘ « The Auckland four which is sailing consists of Messrs A. J. Parker, former Auckland club champion, skip, W. Denison, joint holder with L. Macey of the world’s pair title. W. E. Hunt, former Helensville champion. J. L. Morgan, last year's Kelburn, Wellington.
