INDOOR BOWLS
MASTERTON CLUB. PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club completed the pairs championship sections last week. The winners of the A and B section, Jansen and Stains (s) and Buckley and Roff (s), respectively, will play off in the final on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on No. 1 mat. The following is the draw for the progressive pairs competition:—Tuesday. 7 p.m.: No. 1. F and 6 play O and 15; No. 2. A and 1 play J and 10; 8 p.m. No. 1. B and 2 play K and 11; No. 2, C and 3 play L and 12; 9 p.m. No. 1, D and 4 play M and 13; No. 2. G and 7 play D and 16. Wednesday: 7 p.m., No. 1, E and 5 play N and 14; No. 2, H and pairs championship. No. 2, I and 9 play pairs championship. No. 2. land 9 play R and 18; 9 p.m. No. 1, Park Ferns games. Hendry and Read (holders) v. Fenton and Norman (challengers). Thursday: 7 p.m. No. 1. A and 8 play R and 16; No. 2. B and 9 play J and 17; 8 p.m. No. 1. H and 6 play P and 14; No.. 2, D and 2 play L and 10: 9 ’ p.m. No. 1, C and 1 play K and 18; No. 2, G and 5 play O and 13. The committee request all members to note then’ letters or numbers and starting times and thus save confusion.
