HARRIER ACTIVITIES

MASTERTON CLUB. DEAD HEAT IN TRAINING RUN. A training run was held by the Masterton Harrier Club on Saturday afternoon. in view of the race against Napier, at Masterton. next Saturday. The bitterly cold wind and the slippery track did not effect the attendance. as there was a good attendance of runners. A two-lap course covering 6j miles was decided on. the pace set being an easy one. Gregory and R, Shaw with Busby close behind were first men home. The trail and weather conditions were an excellent test, and valuable training was obtained.
