“FINANCIER OF DEATH”
MORE NAZI ABUSE OF BRITAIN DENUNCIATION OF CREDIT GUARANTEES. PITY EXPRESSED EVEN FOR POLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. ' BERLIN, July 7. The Press set a new standard in fury and hate against Britain over the Bill to increase the limit of export credits guarantees. The official news agency gives the lead with the headings. "England, slave-driver of Europe,” "England, financier of death," "Millions of pounds for the life-blood of others,” and "State money to buy up whole nations.” The agency writes: “Britain's coldblooded purchases of European can-non-fodder for England’s injustice and perfidy expresses the absolute shamelessness of the capitalistic democracies" The “Nachtausgabe” declares that perfidious Albion remains true to her tradition of trading with blood-pro-tected States. Dispatches from London correspondents observe that the British encirclement is unmasked in its full shamelessness. Pity is even expressed for Poland, who, it is claimed, is forced to borrow from Britain in order to support her mobilisation, for which Britain is largely responsible.
