Ottawa. —While Canada is generally self-sustaining in fresh meats, imports of frozen mutton and lamb, mainly from Australia and New Zealand amounted to 105,486 pounds in February. Imports of canned beef during that month amounted to 160,935 pounds of which 57,735 pounds came from Argentina, 50,400 pounds from Brazil and 48,000 pounds from Uruguay.
