Mrs Frank Wall, Martinborough, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs N. Beetham, of Masterton, is visiting Hawke’s Bay. Mr and Mrs Walter White, Eketahuna, are staying at Chateau Tongariro. Mrs Glendinning, Wairoa, is staying with her mother, Mrs S. M. Baird, Cole Street. Masterton. Mrs D. B. Cameron, “Glendhu,” Hinakura, has been staying for a few days in Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs H. R. W. Beetham. “Highmore,” Lansdowne, have returned from a visit to Paraparaumu Beach. Miss S. Woodhouse, of Rakanui, has returned from an extended visit to the South Island. Mrs Howard Booth and Miss Booth, of Carterton, left Wellington for the south last night. Mr and Mrs A. W. Buchanan, Te Kopi, left yesterday on a motoring holiday and are at present at Chateau Tongariro. Mesdames Ken Groves (president), M. Rue (secretary), T. R. Barrer and A. C. Gawith, delegates to the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, will leave next Monday morning to attend the Dominion Conference at Wellington, which will open on that day.
