STOWING AWAY ON STEAMERS. THREE ACCUSED SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 5. Remarking that there was too much stowing away going on Mr J. L. Stout. S.M., sentenced James Norton (19), Thomas Daley (18), and Henry James Clancy (27) each to a month’s imprisment for this offence. In connection with the Wanganella it was stated that Daley was a native of Queensland who came over about three months ago and returned to Australia as a stowaway in company with Norton boarding the Wanganella at Auckland. The company had to take them to Sydney and had to bring them back. Clancy boarded the vessel at Sydney.
