CRASH INTO BRIDGE

FARMER FATALLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 5.Fatal injuries were received' by a farmer, Mr Roy Leng, married, aged 34. tonight when the motor-vehicle he was driving struck a buttress of the To Hana bridge near Wellsford. The accident occurred as Mr Leng was travelling in the direction of Wellsford. The vehicle was a motor-car converted into a truck and after striking the buttress it hit the hand rail a glancing blew. Mr Leng received concussion and after medical attention he was sent to Auckland Hospital by car. but died before reaching hospital.
