In the-men’s doubles, fourth round, Oliff and Shayes defeated Hughan and Vanswol 6/8, 5/7. 13/11, 6/3, 6/2. FURTHER RESULTS. (Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 6. In the fourth round of the men's doubles at Wimbledon Borotra and Brugnon defeated Butler and MacPhail 7/9, 3/6, 6/2, 6/3, 6/4; Cooke and Riggs defeated Ballington and Hughes 6/3. 3/6, 6/8, 6/2, 11/9. In the mixed doubles, fourth round, Malfroy and Miss Nuthall defeated Oliff and Miss Nicoll 6/3, 7/5, and in the fifth round Wilde and Miss Brown defeated McNeill and Miss Stammers 6/4, 3/6, 6/1. AUSTRALIANS IN U.S.A. QUIST A LITTLE OFF COLOUR. (Received This Day. 1.10 p.m.) SAN ANTONIO, July 5. The Australian tennis players arrived from Mexico for exhibitions here. They are in splendid condition, except Quist, who. is described by Hopman as “a little’ off colour.” He expects, however, to be back to form within a week. The team rejected invitations to play further exhibition matches.
