AUSTRALIAN ELIMINATED AT HENLEY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON. July 5. In a heat of the Diamond Sculls, at the Henley centennial regatta, R. Verey (Poland) defeated H. Turner (Sydney) by three lengths. The time was 9 minutes 38 seconds. Turner was winner of the single sculls at the Empire Gaines in 1938.
