MASTERTON BRANCH MEETING. The eighteenth fortnightly meeting of the New Zealand Association or Radio Transmitters (Masterton branch) was held this week. In the absence of the president, the vice-president. Mr Mannell. presided over a good attendance of members. A lengthy report was received from the committee, concerning activities and schemes for competitions among members for the next six months. A valuable prize was olTercd for the first listener member who obtained his transmitter's licence. As there are about five or six members standing for their tickets, competition will be keen. A lecture on grid leak detectors was given. A practice in morse code was also held. It is proposed to hold morse practice sessions three nights per week.
