DRAMA LEAGUE
SEVENTH ANNUAL FESTIVAL. RECORD ENTRIES RECEIVED. The seventh annual festival of the Wairarapa Drama League bids fair to be the greatest success the League has yet had. A record number of twelve entries has been received, necessitating very long programmes in the senior'section on Monday and Tuesday evening. July 17 and 18. It has thus been considered necessary to commence at 7.30 each evening. Members of the audience for whom this is too early are advised that there will be no admission during a play and that the second play should be commencing shortly after 8 p.m. The junior festival is being held for the first time on Saturday afternoon. July 15. commencing at 2.15 p.m. For this the popular prices of Is Gd upstairs and Is downstairs will be charged. with Gd for primary school children. The box plan will as usual be at Mr Vivian Joseph's, Queen Street, and will open early next week.
