VIEWS OF VISITING COMPANIES.

Referring to recent criticism of the heating and appointments of the Masterton Opera House, Mr W. B. Yates, secretary of the Trust Lands Trust, said this morning that inquiries made among theatrical companies which visited Masterton recently and had appeared at the Opera House, indicated that they considered the appointments there far better than they were at many other theatres they had visited, even, in some instances, in the cities. Every satisfaction was expressed with the conditions at the Masterton Opera House.
