HEAVY DROP IN SEASON JUST CLOSED. PARTICULARS OF SYDNEY ' SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.18 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The recession in wool prices is illustrated by figures issued by the National Council of wool selling brokers. The value of wool sold in Sydney in the twelve months ended June 30 was £15.077,537, a fall of £2,543.884 compared with the amount in 1937-38. The season’s turnover this year was 1,153,756 bales, 48,834 bales mare than in the previous season.
