STAFF DANCE
GATHERING IN Y.M.C.A. HALL. The Y.M.C.A. Hall was packed tc capacity on Saturday evening when Daniell's bush staff gave a return dance to the town staff. Old time and modern dances proved'most populai and the music was supplied by Mrs Te Tau and her band. Extras were played by Mr Stewart. Visitors were presen', from Gladstone and Mauriceville dis tricts. The Monte Carlo competition was won by Miss Bishop and partner. Mr Esler as M.C. kept the orchestra very busy and after a happy time the evening was brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne." Fol lowing on this successful effort th< bushmen's committee is arranging for another dance to be held on a date to be announced.
