GLADSTONE

RAINFALL FOR JUNE ("Times-Age” Special.) The following is the rainfall record for June:—Rain fell on 13 days and the total fall being 2.37 inches. Last year 344 inches fell on 15 days in June. The total fall for the half-year is 7.28 inches, compared with 18.52 for the same period last year. FOOTBALL CLUB DANCE There was a large attendance at the Gladstone Hall on Saturday night when the football club held an enjoyable dance. Messrs J. Henson and C. Wyeth acted as M.’sC and Udy's Orch estra supplied the music. Extras were played by Miss M. Herrick and Mr B. Riddell. A ladies’ committee attended to the supper arrangements.
