The result of the senior Rugby fixtures in Wairarapa still makes the competition a very interesting one and with two games to go for the completion of the second round looks as though the Carterton side may still retain their lead. However things go, it is very certain that having reached the stage it has senior Rugby in the Wairarapa will be watched with considerable interest. From now onwards to July 29 no senior games will be played, as for the next three Saturdays representative games will take place against Bush on July 8 at Pahiatua, Hawke’s Bay on July 15 at Masterton, and Poverty Bay on July 22 at Carterton. It is hoped the Carterton boys as well as players will not' relax in their training and spoil the effect of what at the moment looks like an exciting finale to senior Rugby in the Wairarapa.
