W.F.C.A. STAFF

POPULAR ANNUAL BALL. One of the most popular of Wairarapa’s social gatherings, the W.F.C.A. ball, will be held in the Masterton Municipal Hall on Wednesday, July 5, commencing at 8 p.m. The Romeo and Juliet decorative scheme will be on unique lines and will be most effective. There will be about a dozen debutantes, these will be presented at 9 p.m. The Blue River Band and Jack Barnes’s Rhythm Boys will supply the music. There will be spotlight dances and streamers and' confetti to add to the gaiety of the scene. The supper will be on a scale that will be sure to meet with general approval and is under the control of a capable band of ladies. The ball is sure to be largely attended and should go down in social history as one of the most successful ever recorded in the Wairarapa.
