SOLWAY OLD GIRLS

WAIRARAPA BRANCH. / MEMBER FAREWELLED. A pleasant evening was spent recently at the home of Miss J. Douglas, Pownall Street, Mastelffon, when members Of the Wairarapa Branch of the Solway Old Girls’ Association met to bid farewell to Miss Joan 'Burton, who is leaving Masterton shortly to take a position in Napier. Miss Burton was the recipient of a bouquet and a small gift from the members of the branch. In making the presentation the president, Mrs Eric Shaw, expressed appreciation of Miss Burton's services to the association, and while regretting the severance of her relations with the branch, wished her every success in the future.
