LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
PRESENTATION OF ONE-ACT PLAYS. SOCIAL GATHERING FOLLOWS. In the absence of the president, Mr Mackenzie Douglas, Mi- H. H. Daniell presided at the Little Theatre Society’s monthly social last night. Mr Daniell said he was pleased to see such a full attendance of members and friends and extended to new members a most hearty welcome. The Savage Club’s concert room was taxed to its full capacity to acommodate those present. Three one-act plays were presented, as follow: — “Christmas Ghosts,” those taking part being Misses Muriel Hancox, Alice Eton, Molly Dwyer, Messrs G. C. Gaze and J. L. Tamblyn; producer, Miss I. Grant. “Fear of Death” (the action takes place in the dining room of a country residence): Messrs N. W. Flemming and J. A. Kennedy; producer, Mr Kennedy. “Other People’s Husbands” (produced by Miss Patricia Gill): Misses Patricia Jordan, Mary Pither, Jose Hosking, Joyce Shearer, Elsie Hancox, Patricia Gill.
The stage management for the whole of the evening was capably handled by Mr W. G. Perry. An enjoyable supper was served by the social committee and dancing followed.
