STOCK MARKET
CLEARING SALE. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on behalf of Mr H. T. Tilyard, Morison's Bush, Greytown, yesterday. There was a big attendance. The cows, which were chiefly Friesian and Friesian-cross, came forward in good condition and met with strong competition. Prices maintained a high level throughout and although the highest price obtained was £l2, the whole herd averaged £9 12s. Pigs sold well, especially breeding sows. Implements, sundry tools, etc., made good values. _____
