The Wairarapa Badminton Associa- ■ tion’s A and B grade competitions : have reached interesting stages, with Masterton A and Masterton B leaders in the A grade, and St Matthew s A , and Red Star leaders in the B grade. A B representative match is to be : played at Palmerston North, against Manawatu on July 22, and this will make the next round of the competition keener, as nominations have been received by the secretary of the Association for the match. Masterton A, winners of the A grade competition for the past two years, are in the lead for the A grade honours, and have not been extended yet.
