TE WHARAU

GOLF COMPETITIONS (“Times-Age” Special.) The third round for the stableford competition was played on Saturday afternoon, Mrs P. Kummer returning the best card for ladies with 40 and H. Radford with 39, did best for the men. Mrs McKinstry defeated Miss Dickason in a Kummerstein Cup match and S. Gray defeated M. Paku in a Nimmo Cup challenge. Next Saturday Mrs McKinstry will play Mrs Read and S. Gray will play I. McGregor in their respective cup matches, in conjunction with the fifth round of the trophy competition. The draw will be posted in the club house. On July 2, the annual inter-club match with Wharemoukou club will be played at Wharemoukou commencing at 10 a.m. sharp.
