RHODESIAN PROTEST

AGAINST OBSCENE SHOWS AT WORLD’S FAIR. NAME AND FLAG REMOVED. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. NEW YORK. June 26. The name, flag and crest of Southern Rhodesia were today removed from the exits of the Victoria Falls exhibit in the New York World’s Fair in accordance with a peremptory cable from the Southern Rhodesian Government, which objects to the “depraved obscene shows surrounding the exhibit.” The reference is made to nude shows which are flourishing at the fair. The Commissioner earlier protested against their proximity. The Stars andjltripes now are flying alone on the building.
