MASTERTON STOCK SALE
PRICES REMAIN FIRM. A good yarding of fat sheep was offered to a large attendance of buyers at the Masterton stock sale today. Prices were on a par with ruling market rates, with bidding brisk. Some realisations were: Fat ewes, to 16s; hoggets, 14s to 16s 9d; mixed aged ewes r.w. Southdown rams, 12s 5d to 15s.
