SPINAL INJURY
GIRL THROWN FROM HORSE AT HUNT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Thrown on her head when her horse stumbled at a fence during a run with the Starborough Hunt, at Seddon, on Saturday, Miss Gwen Linton, daughter of a well-known farmer, suffered severe back injuries, including a broken vertebrae, and was admitted to the Wairau Hospital unconscious. She is now in a plaster jacket. Her recovery is expected.
