OBITUARY

MR WILLIAM JOHN GRAY. The death occurred on Saturday of Mr William John Gray, of 21 Cole Street, Masterton. The late Mr Gray was born in Wellington 64 years ago and had resided in Masterton for the past 36 years, with the exception of three years when he was resident in Featherston. He followed the occupation of a drover and is well known throughout the Wairarapa. About three years ago indifferent health caused him to retire. He saw service in the South African war. . He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs Andrews, who resides in New Plymouth. The funeral will take place tomorrow. leaving the residence. Cole Street, at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
