MOTOR CAR TAKES FIRE

CRASH INTO TREE, TWO PERSONS INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, June 25. When a motor-car burst into flames after striking a tree on the roadside on the main road near Takapau yesterday, serious injuries were received by a Gisborne man and his daughter. Th? injured are: Miss Florence Morice, driver of the car, injuries to face and legs. Mr G. H. Morice, Tahunga, Gisborne, right leg fractured and face wounds. Both were removed to Waipukurau Hospital, from where their condition was reported tonight to be satisfactory.
