FAREWELL SOCIAL WELL KNOWN RESIDENTS HONOURED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Morison’s Bush Hall was packed last evening when a farewell social was tendered to Mr and Mrs H. Tilyard and Mr and Mrs J. R. McGarry, who are leaving the district. The music for the dancing was supplied by Te Tail's orchestra. Extras for the dancing were played by Mrs R. Beu and Mr Ray Ingley. The euchre tables were well filled. Mr Lauri Thompson presented Mr and Mrs McGarry and Mr and Mrs Tilyard with a fireside easy chair. In making the presentation Mr Thompson expressed regret that Morison’s Bush was losing such good residents. He expressed the hope, however, that they would enjoy many years of prosperity and good health in their new homes.
