MASTERTON FIRE BOARD
APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS. Advice has been received of the appointment of members of the Masterton Fire Board as follow:— Representing live insurance companies: Messrs L. A. Hutton and K. Mason. Governor-General: Mr W. Candy. Masterton Borough Council: Councillors Trevor Beetham and W. Kemp. The only change on the board is the replacement of Mr V. M. Edgar by Mr Hutton as one of the fire insurance representatives. At the last meeting of the Wairarapa Trades Council it was decided to make a recommendation to the member for Masterton (Mr J. Robertson) that Mr Fred Cole be appointed as, the Government nominee.
