BOYS ON MILK ROUNDS
PROTECTIVE LEGISLATION SOUGHT. The employment of children on milk rounds was discussed by the Wairarapa Trades Council at its last meeting when the following resolution was carried: “That the matter of children being employed on milk rounds for very long hours at low rates of pay be taken up with the Federation, of Labour, with a view of having legislation enacted for the protection of the said children.
