WEDDING
BRASELL—MARKS. The marriage took place at Knox Church on Tuesday evening of Nola Norrie, daughter of Mr and Mrs V. F. Marks, of Wellington, and George, elder son of Mr and Mrs G. Brasell, of Martinborough. The Rev John Davie officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father looked charming in a lace frock with long fitting sleeves. The veil, which was edged with silver thread was held in place by a coronet of freesias and cyclamen. The bridecarried a sheaf of carnations and cyclamen. The matron of honour was Mrs R. E. Barnes, sister of the bride. She wore a frock of cyclamen-coloured stiffened lace with a juliet cap held in place with a posy of carnations. The best man was Mr Eric McAlpine, of Martinborough. The guests were received by Mrs D. Holdsworth, sister of the bride at the home of Mrs R. E. Barnes. The bride travelled in a blue novelty costume with navy accessories. Mr and Mrs Brasell will take up their residence at Martinborough.
