DE FACTO RECOGNITION
OF THE GERMAN CONTROL IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA. BUT NO CHANGE IN BRITISH VIEWS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 19. In announcing in the House of Commons today in answer to the question that the British Ambassador in Berlin is applying for an exequator (official recognition) for the Consul-General in Prague, the Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr Butler, stated that while in the British Government’s opinion this step implied a de facto recognition of the present position in Bohemia and Moravia, it did not involve any modification of the views already expressed by Britain on the question.
