MASTERTON. TREE PLANTING SCHEME APPROVED. Approval of the plan for the planting of trees at the northern and southern approaches to Masterton as a centennial memorial was given by the Masterton Borough Council last night. The offer of the Masterton County Council to share the cost on a fiftyfifty basis was accepted. The Borough Council confirmed the proposal the borough staff should carry out the work on the lines suggested.
