SEARCH COMMITTEE

MEETING IN MASTERTON. A meeting of the Masterton Search Committee was held in Mr R. Russell’s rooms on Sunday evening. , The following officers were elected: Executive, Mr R. Russell (chairman), Mr G. Selby (secretary), Sergeant of police, ex-officio; Tramping Club representatives, Mr B. lorns and Miss A. Mannell; in charge of provisions, Miss McKenzie and Mrs Brockett; organiser, Mr H. E. Hargood; trustees, the Mayor and sergeant of police; leaders, Messrs Chas and Walter Blake and B. lorns. It was decided to overhaul the gear and bring it up to date. Arrangements will be made with the Radio Emergency Corps to assist on any future occasion.
