ENJOYABLE GOLF — a BALFOUR MEMORIAL TROPHY. ("Times-Age” Special.) On Saturday afternoon 56 members of the Greytown Golf Club played in the second round of the mixed foursome competition for the President’s trophies, the games being most enjoyable. In the first round, Mrs Ross and Mr G. Brunton had the best card net score (70). On Saturday. Mrs Ward and J. Cr Feast played a fine round of 80 less a handicap of 11, making a net score of 69, and are thus leading by one point. The third round will be played in three weeks’ time. Two rounds of 18 holes each were played. At the end of the morning rounds F. C. Bunny led the field with a fine score of 74. B. Kiernan did 75, and J. C. Feast 76. In the afternoon Bunny slipped to an 86. but Kiernan returned a 79. As did J. C. Feast. At the end of the day B. Kiernan led the field with 154, J. C. Feast being second with 155.
