S. C. WOODERSON FAILS AT PRINCETON. COMPLAINT OF CROWDING. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. PRINCETOWN (New Jersey). June 17. The English crack miler, S. C. Wooderson, amazed 28.000 spectators in the Princeton invitation meeting by finishing fifth and last in the mile. The order of the finish and times were Chuck Fenske, 4.11, 1; Glen Cunningham, 4.12 6-10, 2; San Romani, 4.12 8.10, 3; Blaine Rideout, 4.12, 4; Wooderson, 4.13. 5. Wooderson claimed that Rideout crowded him against the rail in the last half-lap. but he failed to enter a formal protest. The referee ruled that it was an “unfortunate accident” with disqualification not in order.'
