RAYNER BEATS LOVERIDGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, June 18. Clarrie Rayner, Marlborough, New Zealand professional lightweight boxing champion, scored a t.k.o. decision over Tommy Loveridge, Taranaki, in the eleventh of a scheduled I'2-round non-title bout. Rayner at 9.7 was conceding 1041 b, but made light of this handicap, completely outclassing his opponent, who absorbed severg punishment in the gamest possible fashion. Out of the 11 rounds Rayner won eight and two were indecisive. In a second professional bout limited to eight rounds Vai Borcorsky. Murchison, knocked out in the fifth round Jack Griffin, Wellington, who was making his professional debut. Griffin was leading on points when he received a terrific right swing to the point of the jaw.
