It is hoped that everyone who can will take the opportunity of helping this worthy cause. As several young ladies are willing to undertake the training of Guides and Brownies, the work will commence in the near future. The names of about fifty girls are already in hand. The guides will probably meet on Saturday afternoons, and the Brownies on some afternoon during the week. A definite statement will be made later. The District Commissioner gave some very helpful advice regarding the organisation of the work of the local committee and of the Guides Company. The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to Mrs Christie for the use of her home for the meeting.
