MEETING OF WAIRARAPA SOCIETY MEAT PRODUCERS’ BOARD NOMINATION. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the meeting of the Wairarapa P. A. Society today, advice was received from the Poverty Bay A. and P. Association that its Diamond Jubilee Show would be held on November 7 and 8. Mr A. Bain, vice-president, presided over a good attendance. The Waimate Agricultural and Pastoral Association wrote stating that its annual show would take place on November 25. The Masterton A. and P. Association advised that its ram fair would be held on February 15 and 16, 1940, and its Show on February 13 and 14. 1940. Mr Murdoch McLeod was appointed as the society’s delegate to the electoral committee for the election of a producers’ representative on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. Mr I. McLeod 'was nominated as the producers’ representative on the board. Accounts amounting to £76 Us were passed. ___________
